Our six partner colleges located around the West and Midwest provide exceptional support to first-generation college students. Each of these universities has committed to serving Davis New Mexico Scholars by providing additional support and resources to see our scholars through to graduation and ready to launch their careers.

Occidental College (Los Angeles, CA)

Occidental isn’t just any liberal arts college. It fully integrates the liberal arts and sciences with the cultural and intellectual resources of a global city.

Southwestern University (Georgetown, TX)

Southwestern University offers a top-ranked integrated arts and sciences curriculum that incorporates the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, and natural sciences.

St. Edward’s University (Austin, TX)

At St. Edward’s, we believe in living life to the fullest. We are a nationally ranked, liberal arts university in Austin, Texas — and that’s just the beginning.

University of Chicago (Chicago, IL)

University of Denver (Denver, CO)

At DU, we believe the genius is in the doing. Students take part in small, focused classes, where they improve understanding through conversations that draw from the vast range of experiences and perspectives of our diverse community.

The University of Portland is a thriving community of more than 4,000 students, who come from around the nation and the world.
